Asbestos Drawing Services
CAD Bureau Southern produce drawings to compliment Asbestos surveys to identify areas that have, or are likely to have, asbestos or asbestos containing materials. This service will assist in Asbestos Companies and Property Owners / Managers to comply with The Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002.
* The Act requires employers to prevent exposure of employees and Contractors to Asbestos.
* Before any work with asbestos is carried out, the Regulations require employers to make an assessment of the likely exposure to asbestos dust and to identify any areas that contain or are likely to contain Asbestos or Asbestos containing material.
The easiest way to identify an area than contains asbestos is with a drawing that has a legend identifying problem areas and with room numbering that can be linked to a written report.
If a contractor is carrying out work in your property in various areas they are not going to know where Meeting Room 1, Store A or Toilet C are. If these areas contain asbestos it is far easier to present the contractor with a drawing identifying the hazards.
